You can find out more about me over on my blog, and also on GitHub.

I’m an AWS Architect and DevOps Engineer coming from a System Administration and Technical Support background. I work across Windows, Linux and macOS and while I run a primary machine for my day-to-day personal work on Fedora I also have a mix of machines where I distro-hop to make sure I’m current across a broad range of environments. I enjoy building tools that make the command-line experience more efficient and enjoyable, particularly for setup and repetitive tasks. After all, who has time to remember every little command and configuration detail? For me, I’m a big fan of automation and documentation, so the tools I have here are designed to save time and reduce the mental load of managing my development environments. I’ve built them for me, but I hope they can be useful to others as well. I do use AI tooling, in particular Claude and GitHub Copilot, and so it only seems fair to me that when I share them publicly that you should be free to use, modify, and contribute to them as well. Which is why unless otherwise specified, all the tools here are released under a permissive open source license, typically MIT.
